Open Settings
Go to Settings and select Optic ID & Passcode. This is the starting point for setup.

Select Set up Optic ID and follow the on-screen instructions. If you need vision correction, you can set up Optic ID with or without your already paired ZEISS Optical Inserts. You can configure Optic ID with ZEISS Optical Inserts later in Settings if you set it up without them first.

Activate iPhone nearby
Once set up, you can enable the Nearby iPhone option to activate Optic ID from your iPhone when you turn on or restart your Vision Pro.

If you are using iOS 17.1 or later on your iPhone and are signed in with the same Apple ID, you can activate Optic ID from your iPhone.

- This feature works if your iPhone is nearby and has been unlocked within the last hour.

- Select Optic ID & Passcode.
- Enter passcode and select Reset Optic ID.
- If you are using ZEISS Optical Inserts, select Reset Optic ID for [your ZEISS Optical Inserts].
- For a complete reset, select Reset Optic ID for all Optical Inserts.
