Many apps nowadays offer subscriptions - whether streaming services or productivity apps or similar, a subscription is quickly completed. But how can you manage the whole thing or even cancel it? With iOS 12.1.4, Apple has significantly improved the way you find the management.
Apple has already had to endure a lot of criticism in the past when it came to canceling ongoing subscriptions. Why? The administration was always easy - but the section itself was not so easy to find. One reason why many customers paid monthly for services that they no longer used themselves. This fact made it particularly easy for subscription fraudsters. Apple was therefore forced to act. The first step was a complete revision of the guidelines regarding subscriptions. Providers must now clearly indicate the ongoing subscription and the respective costs. In addition, misleading descriptions are no longer permitted.
