Use hand and eye movements
Tapping with your fingers
To select options and open apps, look at the desired content (e.g. an app icon or a button) and then tap together with your index finger and thumb.
Touch
Interact directly with elements by touching them. Similar to typing on a physical keyboard, you can touch keys on the virtual keyboard to make inputs.
Pull and hold
For additional options or to zoom in and out of content, hold your thumb and index finger together. For example, press and hold the "Close" button in an app to display additional options. Pull your hands together or apart to enlarge or reduce the content.
Dragging and moving
Move windows, scroll through content or move objects by pressing and holding to grab them and then dragging. In the Photos app, for example, you can scroll through your albums by pressing and dragging the window bar.
Wipe
To scroll quickly, drag with two fingers and move your wrist quickly. This allows you to scroll through long content quickly.
Use the digital crown and the top button
Open the start page
A simple press on the digital crown takes you back to the start page of your Apple Vision Pro.
Realign content
To realign the content in the view, press and hold the digital crown.
Adjust depth or volume
Turn the digital crown to adjust the depth or volume. Look at the corresponding symbol while turning the crown.
Switch between the environment and digital content
Double-click on the digital crown to switch to a view of your surroundings. Press once again to return to your digital content.
Open entry
You can open the capture function by pressing the top button. This function allows you to take, display and share spatial photos and videos.
Capture still image
Press the top button and the digital crown at the same time to take a still image of your surroundings.
Using the access key
Press the digital crown three times to activate the access button.
Exit app
To exit an app, press and hold the top button and the digital crown at the same time until "Exit apps" is displayed. Select the app you want to close and tap "Exit".
Switch on
To switch on your Apple Vision Pro, press and hold the top button until the Apple logo appears on the display.
Switch off
To switch off, press the top button and the digital crown at the same time until the sliders appear. Pull the upper slider to switch the device off.
Force restart
For a forced restart, press and hold the upper button and the digital crown at the same time until the device is switched off.
