Apple will likely unveil its next generation of iPhones next month – the iPhone 13 series. Now the Taiwanese market research company TrendForce has spoken out.
TrendForce claimedthat its latest research suggests that some of the hardware upgrades for the iPhone 13 models will include a faster and more energy-efficient 5nm chip, likely to be called the A15 Bionic. Support for mmWave 5G is also expected in more countries. Space-saving circuitry is said to be used inside, which will likely allow for larger batteries.
iPhone 13: Manufacturing costs should remain unchanged
In terms of pricing, TrendForce believes that the new series will be positioned similarly to the iPhone 12 series. The prerequisite for this is that the manufacturing costs remain the same. Since the devices will not have any extraordinary hardware upgrades, this should be possible. In terms of the launch of the new models, TrendForce believes that Apple will hold an event in September, thus returning to the familiar time frame. (Photo by Unsplash / dusan jovic)
