Apple is reportedly planning to introduce a brand new MacBook Pro in two sizes (14" and 16") this fall. Now it is reported that the new professional notebook is on schedule.
The Taiwanese news site DigiTimes reported now, citing Apple's supplier, that Apple's MacBook Pro with mini-LED display is actually on schedule. Previously, claimedthat there could be delays due to the chip shortage.
LED suppliers for Apple's upcoming MacBook Pro have said their deliveries for the new model are on schedule, responding to recent reports of shortages of the relevant mini-LED chips and other ICs.
MacBook Pro 2021: New design, better display and more ports
Digitimes reports that the new MacBooks are apparently set to be unveiled in October or November. According to the sources, suppliers are preparing to ship around four million units by the end of 2021. Apple is expected to unveil its new MacBook Pro models with mini-LED backlighting this fall. They will reportedly feature a new M1X Apple Silicon chip with 10 cores and up to 32GB of RAM. Apple is also expected to revamp the design slightly, introducing a new, squarer chassis and more ports, including HDMI and an SD card slot. (Image: rendersbyian)
