On Monday, Apple will hold the "Unleashed" event. The focus will be on brand new MacBook Pro models. Now pictures are circulating around the world that supposedly show a display panel of the new MacBook Pro with an iPhone notch.
After a highly dubious rumor surfaced on Reddit that a new MacBook Pro with a notch is on the horizon, images have now been shared to support the whole thing. To be precise, the user AnyTurtle999 has posted images on Weibo divided, which show a display panel with a notch, which is supposedly associated with the new MacBook Pro. The whole thing was revealed by the anonymous leaker DuanRui on Twitter divided.

The close-up of the alleged notch at the top of the image appears to show a FaceTime camera, microphone, and ambient light sensor for True Tone.
Earlier this week, a Reddit user claimed that the next MacBook Pro will not be equipped with Face ID despite the notch and that the Touch ID sensor will remain above the keyboard for authentication. The photo is not particularly sharp. Its authenticity also remains questionable. However, if the photo turns out to be real, it suggests that the next MacBook Pro models will have very thin display bezels. Whether this will actually be the case in the end remains highly questionable - so take note, but remain skeptical.
