Steve Jobs hated it. "Who wants a stylus? You have to get 'em, put 'em away, you lose 'em. Yuck! Nobody wants a stylus. So let's not use a stylus." These were among the words he said when presenting the first iPhone.
Eleven years later, the time has come. For the first time, Apple could present an iPhone with Apple Pencil support. According to a recent report, suppliers are assuming this. The LCD iPhone is intended to serve as an entry-level model. The two OLED devices should have one more reason to buy them with pencil support.
There was a rumor about this several months ago, but it quickly disappeared and was not discussed again until recently. Now Economic Daily News citing supplier circles that the OLED devices will receive the feature, also the market research company TrendForce supports the rumors. There is even supposed to be a more compact model of the Apple Pencil.
It remains to be seen whether the iGroup will actually implement this – we will know for sure in a few weeks.
