Rumor has it that the successor to the iPhone SE will finally be released in spring 2020 – but so far no one has been able to predict the name. But now it is said to be known.
According to a new Mac Otakara report, the iPhone SE successor may not be called the iPhone SE 2 but will be called the iPhone 9. The Japanese platform claims to have learned this from an informed source. This would make sense, as rumors have it that the device will appear in the iPhone 8 design - just with significantly more power. So the name "iPhone 9" makes sense. But be careful - it's a rumor after all. Since the device will appear in the iPhone 8 look, it will also use Touch ID and have a small 4.7-inch display. However, the A13 processor - known from the iPhone 11 series - is said to be found inside.
According to further reports, the device will be available in its basic configuration with 64 GB for around 399 US dollars. According to well-informed analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, there will be three colors to choose from - space gray, silver and red. Since the presentation is scheduled to take place in March 2020, Kuo believes that mass production will start in January - we are excited. (Photo by hadrian / Bigstockphoto)
