According to a new report, Apple's iPhone 13, due to be unveiled next week, will offer improved camera features and longer battery life, among other things, but will not cost more.
The Twitter account PineLeaks, which is run by leaker Max Weinbach, writes that the iPhone 13 will be significantly better than its predecessor but will not cost more.
We don't expect a price increase across the entire iPhone lineup. The overall weight and thickness of the device will increase compared to last year's models. This will be particularly noticeable in the Pro Max variant, as expected.
The leaker says that the increase in size will be especially noticeable in the Pro Max variant, which, according to Pine, will get a battery that is 18-20 % larger.
iPhone 13 should be able to automatically detect stars in photos
Even though the regular 6.1-inch iPhone doesn't have a bigger battery, performance improvements are expected. However, the Pro variant may suffer a performance drop due to 120 Hz. Interestingly, the Pro series displays will be limited to 60 Hz in the iPhone's power saving mode under iOS 15, but this should come as no surprise. In terms of cameras says Pine said that "all sensors now receive at least 15% more light, with the ultra-wide camera seeing the biggest change with up to 40% more light." The features already leaked also include a new portrait video mode called "Cinematic Video" and improved optical image stabilization. There are also reportedly adjustments to Night Mode, which can automatically detect stars in photos.
