According to a new report from Bloomberg, Apple is developing an Apple TV with a faster processor. The set-top box will have a new chip and is expected to launch in the first half of 2024.
The Apple TV will have the same design as the current Apple TV 4K. So far, little is known about the update. But Bloomberg reportedthat while it will have an improved chip, it probably won't support 8K video streaming.
Apple is working on several smart home products
In addition to a small update for Apple TV, Apple is also working on other smart home products. There is a device that combines an Apple TV, a smart speaker and a FaceTime camera. However, the timing of the launch is unclear as there have been some setbacks in development. Apple is also developing a smart display that will serve as a kind of home hub to control HomeKit devices, make FaceTime calls and much more. This product could be launched as early as 2024.
