Reports about an update to the MacBook Pro 13-inch model have been with us for several months. Now the time frame has been set.
Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has already announced an update to the MacBook Pro 13-inch model several times. The main innovation is said to be the new keyboard, which is already available in the MacBook Pro 16" and the new MacBook Air 2020. The new notebook could also have a "larger" screen. Instead of 13 inches, a total of 14 inches is expected. The change should therefore be similar to the MacBook Pro 16". Now the well-known YouTuber and leaker Jon Prosser has news to announce about this as well. He expects the new MacBook Pro to be launched in May.
Better chips, same design
The code name of the new device is said to be J223. However, he did not provide any concrete details about the specifications. Since the form factor will remain the same, the keyboard layout should be similar to the already updated models. Furthermore, Apple is expected to use 10th generation Ice Lake chips from Intel. These were built on a 10-nanometer architecture. No further innovations are to be expected. (Photo by PixieMe / Bigstockphoto)
