Images have appeared online that allegedly show components of Apple's upcoming mixed reality headset.
The pictures are from a Twitter users, known for providing accurate information about Apple components. Three of the images show molded ribbon cables that wrap around the user's eyes and may be used to connect display components to a circuit board.

Another image shows a row of three sensors or cameras along a similarly long flexible band. The images are accompanied by an emoji showing a smiling face with sunglasses.

Apple Mixed Reality Headset: The First Real Look at Key Components
Although they are not explicitly associated with the Apple headset, the shape of the cables suggests that they were indeed designed for the upcoming device.

The first generation of the Apple mixed reality headset is expected to be unveiled at Apple's Worldwide Developers Conference in June, followed by a commercial launch later this year. So far, no actual images of components of Apple's mixed reality headset have surfaced online, but as the device's announcement draws closer and mass production begins, more images are likely to surface.
