Only recently, rumors emerged about a successor to the iPhone SE - the iPhone XE. Now a recent report gives hope for a new version of the iPhone 8.
Will Apple present an iPhone SE successor? This is a question that many fans are asking themselves. In addition to the recent rumor about an iPhone XE, there is now a serious indication of a new edition of the iPhone 8. The Economic Daily News believes that Apple will present a new 4.7" small iPhone in March 2020 in the design of the currently known iPhone 8. The small device is said to be equipped with an A13 chip and a camera with only one lens. According to the report, the model will have 128 GB and will be available for around 650 US dollars.
It would also continue to feature Touch ID biometric recognition technology.
Not the iPhone SE successor
The 4.7″ iPhone is not supposed to be the iPhone SE successor, but rather a cheap entry-level device with the latest chip generation without Face ID and the associated edgeless display. No further details were given – but if this is actually the case, it remains to be seen whether the iPhone XE will be the alternative for fans of smaller iPhones.
