Analyst Ross Young claims that Apple will not introduce a mini-LED version of the 11-inch iPad Pro in 2022, citing sales of the 12.9-inch model.
Analyst Ross Young wants experience that Apple is not only developing a “Studio Display Pro” with mini-LED but also that the company has decided to postpone the use of the technology in the smaller iPad Pro.
I also got a glimpse of the 12.9" MiniLED iPad Pro. It's doing really well. There's no need to bring an 11" display to market. Don't expect it this year.
11-inch iPad Pro with mini-LED could be released in 2023 at the earliest
Previously, analyst Ming-Chi Kuo claimed that the 11-inch iPad Pro with mini-LED would be released this year. Ross Young, analyst at Display Supply Chain Consultants, believes that the mini-LED in the 12.9-inch iPad Pro is a great success. By postponing its use in the 11-inch model, differentiation between the products would be maintained. However, Ming-Chi Kuo believes it is possible that Apple will postpone all new mini-LED devices until at least 2023 for cost reasons. This would affect both the 11-inch iPad Pro and the "Studio Display Pro". (Photo by Colour59 / Bigstockphoto)
