MacBook Pro 2021: New design & more ports
Meanwhile, Apple has changed plans to begin mass production of two new MacBooks. The new schedule calls for the second half of the year. The two MacBooks will feature the Apple Silicon processor.
The second half of the year begins in July. This means there should still be enough time for Apple's suppliers to ramp up production for a later market launch. In addition to the Apple Silicon processor, the devices will have an LCD display with mini-LED backlighting and more ports, according to Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo. This means that the devices will have an SD slot, HDMI port and MagSafe. Physical function keys are expected to replace the Touch Bar. According to several reports, the devices will be presented in autumn 2021. (Photo by Ekaterina79 / Bigstockphoto)
