A leaker with a pretty good track record now claims that the new MacBook Pro 14-inch model will have the same CPU as the 16-inch version.
The current 13-inch Intel MacBook Pro, for example, has a high-end configuration with a 2.3 GHz i7 processor, Iris Plus GPU, 32 GB RAM and 4 TB SSD. The 16-inch model, on the other hand, is equipped with a 2.4 GHz i9 processor, a Radeon Pro 5600M, 64 GB RAM and an 8 TB SSD. In terms of performance, the new MacBook Pro generation, which is due to be released with an Apple Silicon chip, will look different. The leaker Dylan According to Apple, there will no longer be any performance differences as we are used to with Intel devices. The M1X chip will therefore deliver the same performance in both models (14" and 16"). This way, Apple also wants to appeal to users who want maximum performance but prefer a smaller device.
MacBook Pro 2021: Launch to take place this fall
It's reassuring to see that both MacBook Pro's coming out this fall will have the same chip and performance. That's definitely a win for those who are happy to go for the smaller size. Just so everyone understands, I'm referring to the 16 and 14 inch Pros, both of which have the same M1X.
It is currently unknown when the new devices will be released. Observers believe that Apple will unveil the new MacBook Pro 2021 models sometime between September and November. In addition to the switch to Apple Silicon, the new professional notebooks are expected to feature a brand new design, offer more ports and possibly use mini-LED displays. (Image: rendersbyian)
