Rumor has it that Apple is planning to redesign the MacBook Air either late this year or next year. Now, images have been shared that show the new device in multiple colors.
Bloomberg reported earlier this year that Apple is working on a thinner and lighter MacBook Air. The device is expected to be unveiled in the second half of 2021 or sometime in 2022 at the earliest. If Bloomberg's information is correct, it will feature MagSafe charging technology and a new generation of the company's own Mac processors - Apple Silicon Chip. It is also claimed that Apple wants to make the bezel smaller so that the device can retain its 13-inch display diagonal but be smaller overall.

Will the new MacBook Air be available in seven color options?
According to the report at the time, the new 13-inch model will also get a pair of USB 4 ports. The current MacBook Air, which was upgraded with Apple Silicon in November, is expected to remain in the lineup as an entry-level model.

Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has also largely supported Bloomberg's statement. Now the well-known YouTuber and leaker Jon Prosser has published pictures (via YouTube), which are based on prototypes. According to his sources, the MacBook Air will also be available in several color options like the brand new iMac. What it will all look like can now be seen in his latest video.

Whether this will happen remains to be seen, of course. Since Prosser has been right several times in the past, the whole thing will of course be followed closely. (Image: Jon Prosser x Rendersbyan)
