A fairly accurate leaker has shared alleged photos of the iPhone 15 display with Dynamic Island Cutout and USB-C port.
The leaker, known on Twitter as @URedditor or Unknownz21, has just a few days after the photo of the USB-C port of the iPhone 15 Pro another picture published. This time, it shows that the design of the iPhone 15 is very similar to that of the iPhone 14, with a few exceptions. All iPhone 15 models are expected to receive the new notch for the selfie camera, which the leaked photo confirms. Apple calls the software that surrounds this notch Dynamic Island, which displays information called Live Activities. If the images are correct, they also confirm that the base model of the iPhone 15 will also come with USB-C.
Apple is expected to introduce the iPhone 15 series in September 2023
This change is likely because the EU will enact a law by 2024 requiring a more universal connector for devices like the iPhone. Unknownz21 first shared the images with MacRumors, although there don't seem to be many more details. The report adds that the iPhone 15 will have a similar design to the iPhone 14 and will use the A16 processor, WiFi 6, and a Qualcomm X70 modem. The leaker has already posted an image of the iPhone 15 Pro's USB-C port. Unknownz21 has a short but precise story: he shared the "Gobi" AR codes that have become App Clips in iOS 14. The iPhone 15 is expected to launch in September 2023. The high-end models of the iPhone 15 Pro are expected to have a new curved titanium case instead of stainless steel.
