Samsung seems to be sticking with folding technology. A video is said to show the upcoming "Galaxy Z Flip" - Samsung's second attempt at folding phones.
Many will remember Samsung's folding experiment "Galaxy Fold". However, the company has another model in the pipeline - the Galaxy Z Flip. Samsung confirmed that it was working on a new folding phone a few months ago, but no details were given. Now the new device has allegedly been unveiled. The well-known leaker and concept designer Ben Geskin has published a video on Twitter in which an unknown man demonstrates the supposed Samsung Galaxy Z Flip.
Apple is researching folding technology
It can be assumed that the device will be significantly cheaper than Samsung's first folding attempt. Whether it will keep its promises remains to be seen, of course. Experts believe that Samsung will present the Galaxy Z Flip at the next Unpacked event on February 11th in San Francisco. Meanwhile, there is little evidence so far that Apple could be planning to present a foldable iPhone in the near future. But the company undoubtedly seems to be researching the technology, as patents that have already been discovered show. In addition, it was reported at the beginning of last year that Samsung had already pattern for foldable displays to Apple. Whether and when such a device will actually appear from Apple remains to be seen. (Photo by artmagination / Bigstockphoto)
