Rumors about new over-ear headphones from Apple have been with us for over two years. Now a picture is said to show the AirPods Studio for the first time.
The AirPods Studio have been mentioned several times in reports and discovered in the iOS beta code. But there hasn't been a real look at the design yet. Now the anonymous leaker @choco_bit has Twitter decided to publish an image that is supposed to show the sport version of the much-discussed headphones. Bloomberg has already reported that Apple is developing at least two variants of its over-ear headphones: a premium version with "leather-like fabrics" and a "fitness-focused model that uses lighter, breathable materials with small perforations." The image discovered today supposedly shows the sport version of the AirPods Studio.
AirPods Studio: Modular and intelligent
Because the design matches previous statements by Bloomberg, it can be assumed that this is a real recording. Bloomberg described the product at the time as follows:
Prototypes of the headphones have a retro look with oval, pivoting ear cups and a headband connected by thin metal arms.

It is also claimed that the headphones have a modular design. This means that users can replace them at any time thanks to magnetic pads. In addition to the ear pads, the headband is also adjustable. The US blog 9to5mac has already leaked several features of the AirPods Studio in the past. According to this, the headphones will have head and neck detection, custom equalizer settings and more. When Apple will actually release the brand new product imagines remains to be seen. However, hints in iOS 14 and statements from well-known leakers point to a launch this year. (Image: Beats / Apple)
