According to a new report, test production of the iPhone SE 3 is set to begin soon as Apple's suppliers and supply chain prepare for mass production of the new devices.
So reported MyDrivers that test production, a stage in the supply chain that precedes mass production of the device, is set to begin soon, according to sources, suggesting that the launch of the new iPhone is getting closer. Reports suggest that the new iPhone SE will launch in the first quarter of 2022, around the end of March. The new third-generation iPhone SE is expected to feature the same design with a physical home button and Touch ID.
iPhone SE 3 will play an important role
The screen size will remain the same at 4.7-inches, but the device is expected to feature the faster A15 chip and improved camera features. The iPhone SE is a popular choice for customers looking for a smaller and more compact iPhone. Ahead of Apple's expected retirement of the 5.4-inch "iPhone mini" in the 2022 iPhone lineup, the iPhone SE is likely to play an increasingly important role in the iPhone lineup.
