We have read rumors about the specifications of the iPhone 2021 series several times in the last few weeks and months. Now there is a new report regarding storage space.
The analysts of Wedbush have today published a new report on the iPhone 2021 series. Based on statements from suppliers, it claims that Apple could introduce an iPhone with a terabyte of storage for the first time this year. As a reminder: The iPhone 12 Pro (Max) is available with a maximum of 512 GB. The forecast also explains that sales will continue to be strong despite the ongoing global COVID-19 pandemic. But back to storage. As far as iOS devices are concerned, Apple has so far only offered 1 TB of storage on its high-end tablet - the iPad Pro. However, the rumor that Apple could give the high-end iPhone a drive with a terabyte of storage is not entirely new.
iPhone 2021: Better display and more
Youtuber Jon Prosser was one of the first to suggest such an option for 2021. Given that other manufacturers already offer devices with one TB, it is only a matter of time before Apple follows suit. It could therefore happen this year. In addition to more storage space, the Pro versions of the iPhone 2021 series are also expected to get a 120Hz display. The return of Touch ID is also said to be realistic. The Pro devices could be equipped with both Face ID and Touch ID. The fingerprint sensor is to be placed under the display. But it will be a few months before that happens. This means that a lot could of course change in that time - it remains exciting as always. (Photo by yalcin.sonat / Bigstockphoto)
