The rumors surrounding the next iPhone lineup show no signs of abating – while some details are once again confirmed, there are also new clues about the RAM.
The two UBS analysts Timothy Arcuri and Munjal Shah have published a new forecast for the upcoming iPhone 12 lineup. They also expect a 5.4-inch, two 6.1-inch and one 6.7-inch iPhone. The four devices are expected to be presented in autumn 2020. They also believe that all four models will have an OLED screen. The biggest differences, however, will be in the camera and RAM. In a separate note, the MacRumors provided, the equipment is listed as follows:
- iPhone 5.4-inch OLED display: dual camera without 3D sensor and 4 GB RAM
- iPhone 6.1-inch OLED display: Dual camera without 3D sensor also with 4 GB RAM
- iPhone 6.1-inch OLED display: triple camera with 3D sensor and 6 GB RAM
- iPhone 6.7-inch OLED display: triple camera with 3D sensor and 6 GB RAM
iPhone presentation expected in September
The specifications given for the camera match earlier forecasts by the well-known star analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, while the information on the RAM matches a prediction made by Barclays analysts in November. The analysis can therefore be taken seriously - but it remains to be seen whether other sources will confirm the information. The new iPhone 2020 series will also have a new design and support 5G for the first time. A presentation is expected in September 2020. (Photo by Eremin / Bigstockphoto)
