The rumor mill is busy bubbling. Several details about the upcoming iPhone XI surfaced at the beginning of the year - now the latest speculations are being strengthened by another report. There is also a hint about the iPad Pro.
The Wall Street Journal and star analyst Ming-Chi Kuo have already predicted an iPhone with a triple camera for 2019. At the beginning of the year, several details about the upcoming iPhone XI emerged – an anonymous source has contacted OnLeaks and claims to be familiar with the development, at that time several drafts of the iPhone XI. Now the news channel Bloomberg has spoken out. The channel's predictions have often proven to be correct in recent months.
Improved Live Photos
Bloomberg is now also reporting on an iPhone with a triple camera. According to this, Apple will install a camera with three lenses in the upcoming iPhone, which will enable a wider field of view to be captured. A new technology should enable more pixels to be captured. The A13 chip should also improve Live Photos - here it is conceivable that the recording time will be increased from three to six seconds.
No new iPad Pro in 2019
According to Bloomberg, Apple will not introduce a new camera technology until 2020. This should ensure significantly better images - this is made possible by the time-of-flight technology. The sensor calculates the time it takes for light to reach a surface - it can therefore determine depth information and thus create more precise images. The rear camera would also benefit from the TOF module - augmented reality could be significantly improved. However, this technology is not to be introduced in an iPhone - Bloomberg claims to have learned that Apple wants to use the new 3D camera system first in a new iPad Pro, which is not to be introduced until spring 2020.
Lightning or USB-C?
There is also news on the subject of connections. According to the report, iPhone devices with USB-C connections are currently being tested. Apple has not yet made a final decision, which is why a last-minute change is very likely.
