Youtuber Jon Prosser has now released renderings of the iPhone 14 Pro, providing the closest look yet at what the device might look like when it launches in September.
In his latest video on the YouTube channel Front Page Tech shows Prosser renders of the iPhone 14 Pro, created by Apple concept artist Ian Zelbo, showcasing a number of design changes rumored to be planned for this year's high-end iPhone model. The renderings reflect a variety of design rumors from reputable sources, including CAD renderings and specific dimensions, leaked schematics, images of production molds for accessories, early casings, and other information.
iPhone 14 Pro gets new front view
It is believed that the front of the iPhone 14 Pro will feature a spherical and circular True Depth camera arrangement instead of the notch and slimmer bezels around the display, which will significantly change the front of the device.

There's also said to be a slightly larger display, which partially contributes to the height of the device. The most noticeable change on the back of the device is a significantly larger rear camera panel, which includes a new 48MP camera system with a 57 percent larger sensor and 8K video recording capability. The larger camera platform is naturally more noticeable on the 6.1-inch iPhone 14 Pro than on the 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Pro Max.

The renders also show the corners of the iPhone 14 Pro with larger radii for a rounder look. Apple may have been forced to change the corner radius of the iPhone 14 Pro because it has a larger rear camera. The cameras on the iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max largely matched the corner radius of the respective device's frame. But when Apple increased the size of the cameras on the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max, both devices no longer matched the corners. While the difference between the camera arrangements on the iPhone 12 Pro Max and iPhone 13 Pro Max is small, the difference between the iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro is significant.
The square camera module is getting even bigger
It seems plausible that when the iPhone 14 Pro was enlarged again this year, the inconsistencies between the curves of the camera plateau, the lenses and the corners of the stainless steel frame became too large, so Apple tweaked the design. The new, larger corner radii still don't exactly match the rounded corners of the rear camera plateau, but they are significantly closer. This correction brings noticeable changes to the front of the device. The renderings also focus on the iPhone 14's reportedly planned purple color.

Prosser confirms an earlier report that claimed the iPhone 14 will launch with a "unique" purple color option. Also pictured are the expected graphite, silver and gold color options for the "Pro" models. (Image: Ian Zelebo x Jon Prosser)
