In about six weeks, Apple will introduce the iPhone 14 series. Although we already have a pretty good idea of what the new devices will look like, more and more leakers are speaking out. In some cases, new details are revealed or already known rumors are confirmed, as was the case in the most recent case.
Twitter user Jioriku has a Contribution about the new processor, iPhone colors and the new Always-On Display mode for the upcoming 14 series. This time last year he predicted that the iPhone 13 can only be unlocked with the user's eyes while wearing a mask - Face ID with a mask. Now on the subject of the iPhone 14. So he claims the following:
- iPhone 14: Green, purple, blue, black, white and red. Pink is replaced by purple.
- iPhone 14 Pro: Green, purple, silver, gold and graphite. He says purple takes the place of Sierra Blue.
Jioriku was not the first to claim that Apple would launch a purple iPhone 14.
iPhone 14: Storage options to remain unchanged
As for the rumored Always-On Display feature, Jioriku says it looks identical to what we've seen in the Xcode leaks of the past few days.
AOD will only follow the widgets on the lock screen and there is no way to change them. They rely on continuity so the complications are a mirror image of the lock screen.
The Twitter user claims that Apple tested a titanium option for the iPhone 14 Pro, but then decided to use the same materials as the iPhone 13 Pro.

The leaker believes we'll get the same storage options as last year and that the next iPhone will support 30W charging for "30W or higher power supplies for the first part of a charge cycle" and then "drop to 27-25W." The MagSafe magnets are a bit stronger and the new MagSafe battery case is larger (and heavier), according to him. We'll find out in just a few weeks whether he's right this year too.
