Rumors about the next generation of iPhones have increased significantly in recent days. The focus was on the supposedly smaller notch. Now images have emerged that show the panel of the iPhone 13 compared to the iPhone 12.
According to rumors, the notch will be smaller for the first time this year. In line with previous reports, the images show how the notch will be smaller in width while the height will remain roughly the same. Apple achieves the reduction in width by lifting the earpiece up into the upper screen frame. The infrared and camera components will remain in the visible notch area. The new notch is expected to be almost 30 percent narrower than its predecessor.

iPhone 13: How will Apple use the extra screen space?
This means that iPhone 13 customers will get a little more screen space for displaying content. Now leaker DuanRui has posted more images on Twitter divided. So the images visualize the iPhone 13 display size and notch using possible screen protectors or some kind of "film pattern". Exact information about the origin is unclear. Now, based on the images, we can see the difference.

Some users will certainly be disappointed. How Apple plans to use the extra space on the iPhone 13's screen is still unclear. The most obvious possibility, however, is that the battery percentage will be available in the status bar. Currently, users have to open the Control Center to see the exact battery level.
