There are plenty of reports about the new iPhone generation. But will the iPhone 12 also have a ProMotion display?
There are numerous reports on the design and features. From the RAM to the battery and more. But what about the display? Rumour has it that Apple is planning to use ProMotion displays – at least on two of the four Devices. But there are supposed to be problems, which is why the new technology is in limbo. At the same time, others claim that Apple will not install the ProMotion display until next year. What now? The well-known YouTuber EverythingApplePro has commented on the topic in a new video. Based on information from Max Weinbach, there are supposed to be internal tests, although the results are not particularly positive. Specifically, it is reported that the iPhone 12 Max failed in four tests and the iPhone 12 Pro in three out of a total of 20 tests.

But a final decision is still pending. According to Weinbach, it will not be decided until next week whether the upcoming Apple smartphone will be equipped with a 120Hz display. However, the chances are not good. In addition, the leaker also claims to have learned that both the power supply and the EarPods will be omitted. Furthermore, an earlier report about 4K recordings in 120 and 240 FPS has been corrected. According to this, these new values are intended for slow motion videos and not for normal recordings.
