Yesterday a picture was published showing the use of the LiDAR scanner in the iPhone 12 Now the same source has provided further images.
The Twitter account Choco_bit has published two more images that could have come from an iPhone 12 repair manual or something similar. While only the back was shown yesterday, today the front of the alleged iPhone 12 can also be seen. The interesting thing is the notch - it seems to be smaller overall. If the images are real, they would confirm previous reports that this year's iPhone 12 series could appear with a smaller notch for the first time. According to previous reports, the complete removal of the iPhone notch will occur in the next two years.
Picture shows project "Avocado"
Since the iPhone 12 is set to appear in a completely new design, the change to the notch would fit in quite well with the redesign. In addition to the front and rear views, another image was published that is supposed to show the home screen. The home screen clearly appears to consist of widgets - Apple's "Avocado" project. A few days ago we reported that Apple is testing widgets under iOS 14 - more on that below. As already mentioned, it cannot be verified whether the images are genuine. However, the account has already been able to boast in the past. Nevertheless, a healthy dose of skepticism is always part of it. (Photo by HalfPoint / Bigstockphoto)
