Apple is currently working on a MagSafe battery pack designed for iPhone 12 models. Apparently, it will be able to charge more than just one iPhone.
Apple is working on a MagSafe compatible battery pack specifically for iPhone 12 models. The product was announced in the second beta of iOS 14.5 discovered and has now been confirmed by several sources, including Bloomberg. Now Youtuber Jon Prosser has spoken out and given further details. In the last Genius Bar podcast explained Prosser that the iPhone 12 MagSafe battery pack will feature "reverse charging." In fact, Apple is said to be working on two versions - a standard version and a premium version with "reverse charging." Although Prosser doesn't give any details, the answer should be obvious. The premium version seems to be able to charge AirPods in addition to an iPhone - at the same time.
iPhone 12 MagSafe battery pack: Software problems complicate development
Prosser has a mixed track record when it comes to Apple leaks. But in this case, the information may actually be true. Previously, Mark Gurman, Apple leaker and Bloomberg journalist, explainedthat Apple is working on several prototypes that can charge more than just one iPhone. The problem, however, is that the development of the accessories is hampered by software problems. One example given was that the iPhone indicates overheating when using this new accessory, although this is not the case. Based on this hurdle, Gurman explained that the launch could be delayed. However, it is not impossible that Apple will scrap the project completely if the problems persist. (Photo by ms_pics_and_more / Bigstockphoto)
