Most of the iPhone 12 is already known. Both the interior and exterior will probably offer no more surprises. But what will Apple include with the iPhone 12?
Apple usually includes a charging cable with an adapter and a pair of EarPods with the iPhone. This year, however, things could look different. The well-known analyst Ming-Chi Kuo (via MacRumors) believes that Apple will stop selling EarPods this year. But anyone who thinks that Apple will include AirPods with the iPhone is mistaken. According to Kuo, Apple's strategy is to boost sales of AirPods by eliminating EarPods. According to Kuo, AirPods will continue to be sold separately and will not be included with the iPhone as some believe.
AirPods Pro Lite – just new Beats X?
Kuo expects that AirPods deliveries will increase significantly in the second half of the year. However, there will not be an update in 2020. According to his knowledge, new third-generation AirPods will be released in early 2021, with the changes only being to the internal design. Leaker Jon Prosser, on the other hand, claims that the AirPods 3 were completed and could be introduced at any time. Kuo has already stated that the supposed "AirPods Pro Lite" will probably be new Beats X and is therefore sticking to his statement. Who is right now remains to be seen.
