The 2019 iPhones are said to have a dual Bluetooth system that will allow them to send audio to two separate devices at the same time - this is reported by Japanese media.
The upcoming Apple iPhones could include a dual Bluetooth system that can send audio to two paired devices at the same time. Currently, users can pair different Bluetooth devices such as headphones or car systems, but they can only play audio through one of them or with a shared system such as multiple HomePods - AirPlay 2.

The Japanese Apple blog Macotacara claims to have received this information from suppliers - but it remains unclear whether the entire range of iPhone 2019 models will have the function. In its report, Macotacara emphasizes that this would be a similar Bluetooth profile to that of the Huawei P20 Lite and Samsung Galaxy S8, S8 Plus and later. It also says that the function only allows one track to be played on two independent Bluetooth devices - but not two different music tracks at the same time. For example, two pairs of second-generation AirPods could be paired to one device.
