Rumors about new iPad Pro models are currently omnipresent. Now there are new indications of an update from Apple's own ranks.
Well-known Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurman has a new report published a report on the current stock of the iPad Pro 2018. On Monday, the report found that, for example, the iPad Pro 12.9-inch device with 512 GB without cellular is completely sold out in the Los Angeles area. The model was also not available in many stores in New York City at the time of the check. In addition, some Apple employees are said to have noticed a reduced iPad Pro stock in the stores, including various locations in Europe. The phenomenon could of course also be related to delivery problems due to the current situation in China. But Apple also deliberately reduces the production of devices when follow-up models are due.
iPad Pro 2020 to debut in the first half of the year
The majority of reports suggest that the new iPad Pro will be presented in the first half of the year. March is considered a particularly hot candidate. According to a recent rumor, Apple could hold a special event on March 31st. Even if Apple does indeed present the device on that day, some analysts believe that the market launch will take place later - the reason being the current situation in China. According to an earlier DigiTimes report, production of the new iPad Pro 2020 is said to be progressing slowly. (Photo by xMarshall / Bigstockphoto)
