A lot of information has leaked about the new iPhone 12 series - including the design. Now, images of CADs have surfaced that are said to partially confirm previous rumors.
Twitter user @Jin_Store has published a series of images that are supposed to show the design of the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro models. These are CAD images and the molds created from them. The appearance of such circuit diagrams is not unusual, as they are distributed to various accessory manufacturers who develop suitable cases. As can be seen in the pictures, the Phone 12 models will have the popular iPad Pro (2018 / 2020) design. This has already been reported several times by various Sources The images show all four sizes, including a 5.4-inch iPhone, two 6.1-inch models and a 6.7-inch device.
iPhone 12 mass production could start in July
But there are also two features that differ from other rumors. While the striking case design is clearly visible, the notch remains unchanged. According to some sources, however, it is said to be 30 percent smaller - but the pictures show the opposite. The camera module was also created without a LiDAR scanner. At this point, however, it is worth noting that both details are initially irrelevant for the production of accessories as long as the case dimensions are correct. Therefore, both details should be viewed calmly. Apple will present the new iPhone series in autumn this year. It is currently assumed that mass production of the devices will start in July.
