The news site Bloomberg recently reported on Apple's upcoming iPad series. Now images based on prototypes have been presented.
Bloomberg recently reported on Apple's roadmap for the iPad family, including the sixth generation iPad mini. Now Youtuber Jon Prosser has posted pictures published, which were created based on prototypes. Prosser says that the sixth-generation iPad mini has almost the same body dimensions as the fifth-generation iPad mini.

However, the design has been radically revised. This means that the new device will apparently appear without a home button and will instead rely on Touch ID in the side button, just like the iPad Air 4.

In addition, the new iPad mini will now use USB-C instead of Lightning. In terms of display dimensions, the device is expected to be around 8.4 to 8.9 inches. Just like the iPad Pro and iPad Air, the new iPad mini has flat sides with a simple finish.

Prosser's renderings really do make it look like an iPad Air, just smaller. The device will also have an A14 chip and offer 5G connectivity. According to Prosser, the iPad mini will be available in silver, black and gold color options. If the rumors are to be believed, Apple will unveil the device by the end of this year.
