Images shared by Sonny Dickson on Twitter allegedly show dummies of the new iPad Pro and iPad mini devices. If the images are real, the whole thing may be a disappointment for some people.
The classic iPad mini design is clearly visible on this dummy, with large display bezels and the physical home button. Dickson explainedthat the final device could be a bit thicker. If the end product actually looks like this, then it can be assumed that Apple has only made improvements to the interior. This means that the statement and the picture contradict earlier rumors. After all, there have been several reports that the iPad mini 6 will have a new design.

The display could reach around 8.4 inches. If Dickson is right, the iPad mini 6 will not have the same design as the iPad Air and iPad Pro. This will certainly be a big disappointment for fans. In addition to the iPad mini, Dickson also shared pictures that are supposed to show the new iPad Pro.
iPad Pro: What innovations can we expect?
It has already been claimed several times in advance that hardly anything will be changed on the casing. This means that the new generation will look similar to the previous model. Overall, it is expected that the MiniLED backlight will first be integrated into the 12.9-inch iPad Pro, followed by the 11-inch model. The fifth generation is expected to be significantly upgraded on the inside. Apple is expected to use the A14X chip here.

This processor is reportedly on par with the M1 chip. Interestingly, the new chip was only recently leaked. In addition, Bloomberg has already reported that the new iPad Pro series is expected to be released in April. The report at the time also mentioned that the new iPad Pros will feature Thunderbolt connectivity for the first time - thanks to the new processor. If this is the case, this innovation would open the door for additional accessories, including external displays, storage and more. (Photo by xMarshall / Bigstockphoto)
