Just yesterday, DigiTimes claimed that Apple would give the iPad mini 6 a mini-LED display. But now display analyst Ross Young has contradicted the whole thing.
After DigiTimes published the article, Young wants to publish his own Testify to have spoken to Radiant Opto-Electronics. The supplier is said to DigiTimes Apple is said to be supplying mini-LEDs for the iPad mini. But Young's source denied this. In fact, someone from the staff said that the upcoming iPad mini will not have a mini-LED display. As a reminder, reliable Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo claimed some time ago that an updated iPad mini with a mini-LED display would be released in 2020. However, due to the global health crisis and delays in production, this did not happen.
iPad mini 6: Which processor will Apple install?
Unlike the display, a redesign is considered certain. According to various sources, the device will receive a significant redesign that includes no home button, a Touch ID sensor integrated into the power button, a USB-C port and a larger display. When it comes to the processor, the rumors are just as contradictory as the display. While some claim that the device will be equipped with the A14 chip, some other sources suggest the use of the upcoming A15 processor. Of course, as always, it remains to be seen who will be right in the end. (Image: rendersbyian)
