Apple has already confirmed that iPadOS 16.1 will be released to all users in October. Now it is reported that the update will be released at the end of October.
In a new tweet writes Mark Gurman said that iPadOS 16.1 is expected to be released the week of October 24. Apple will likely release iOS 16.1 at the same time as iPadOS 16.1 because the latest beta versions of both updates have the same build number. Due to the delay, iPadOS 16 will be released as iPadOS 16.1 instead. The update is compatible with all iPad Pro models, the third-generation iPad Air and later, the fifth-generation iPad mini and later, and the fifth-generation iPad and later. Apple has already announced that iPadOS 16 will be released in October. However, the company has not given an exact release date. Originally, iPadOS 16 was supposed to be released along with iOS 16 in September.
Apple will release macOS Ventura alongside iOS 16.1 & iPadOS 16.1
But Apple has postponed the update after some users criticized the new Stage Manager feature, which allows multiple apps to be used in overlapping windows. Apple recently extended Stage Manager to older iPad Pro models with A12X and A12Z chips from 2018 and 2020, but without support for an external display, which limits the feature to four apps on the built-in display of these models. Apple has also postponed support for external displays in conjunction with the feature. macOS Ventura will also be released in October. It is expected to be released alongside iOS 16.1 and iPadOS 16.1. Are you looking for new accessories?
