In less than two weeks, Apple is expected to unveil iOS 14, iPadOS 14, tvOS 14, watchOS 7, and macOS 10.16 at this year's WWDC 2020. Now an image has surfaced that is said to show a new feature in iOS 14.
There are some cool features waiting for us in iOS 14, if the previous leaks are correct. However, since the leaked version is from December 2019, there will certainly be some deviations. Now a screenshot has been posted on the Chinese-language website ITHome has appeared that enables automatic recording of audio calls. This means that users will supposedly be able to record phone and audio Face Time calls on iOS 14. According to the image, activating the switch under the new settings window will enable automatic recording of "all incoming and outgoing calls on this device."
iOS 14 Call Recording: Real or Fake?
The settings window also indicates that users must notify all participants in the audio call before starting to record. This is a feature that some fans have requested in recent years but was never implemented by Apple. Whether the feature will actually debut on iOS 14 remains questionable. It is currently not possible to verify its authenticity. However, due to the vague text, one could suspect a fake. Apple is known to be very picky when it comes to descriptions and is very careful about the choice of words - this one does not fit Cupertino's style. So the rumor should definitely be viewed with skepticism. WWDC 2020 will kick off on June 22nd and will be held digitally all week long. (Photo by ADCstock / Bigstockphoto)
