Last week, US blog MacRumors found in internal iOS 14.6 files that Apple is working on new earphones under the Beats brand called "Beats Studio Buds." Now the first real-world images have surfaced.
According to MySmartPrice, the site has obtained live images of the Beats Studio Buds earbuds. Each earbud has a round shape and two tiny notches. The earbuds also have an in-ear design, similar to the Samsung Galaxy Buds. That said, they don't look like the AirPods or Powerbeats. The design is similar to the one revealed via yesterday's FCC document.

The website says she received the pictures of the new plugs from an unknown source. The report states:
MySmartPrice could not independently verify the authenticity of these images. Although the design is quite similar to the previous leaks, the final product might feature some design changes.
Beats Studio Buds: When will they be launched?
In the picture, you can see that the tips are missing. If Apple follows the same approach as with the AirPods Pro, the Beats Studio Buds could come with three different silicone tips for a better fit. Based on what was discovered in the code, the new buds will have an Apple chip to provide instant pairing and the "Hey, Siri" feature.

The H1 chip could be used here. Compared to the current Powerbeats Pro, the new earphones will be much more compact and have active noise cancellation. Just like the AirPods, they are completely wireless earphones that come with a smart charging case, which could indicate wireless charging - a feature that the Powerbeats Pro also lacks. It remains unclear when the market launch will take place. However, it could happen soon. (Image via MacRumors)
