Rumors suggest that the Apple Watch Series 8 could feature a Pro model that would feature a completely new design without straying too far from the existing shape.
There is speculation that Apple will introduce an Apple Watch Pro with the next generation of the Apple Watch, a robust model for extreme sports enthusiasts. It is suspected that this model will not only be a larger version of the wearable, but that the look could also be fundamentally revised. The new high-end model will supposedly be much larger than before, at least that is what Mark Gurman claims in the latest output of his "Power On" newsletter. It could end up being "so big that it only appeals to a subset of customers."
Apple Watch Series 8: Will Apple introduce a Pro model?
Gurman repeats an earlier rumor that the screen will be 7 % larger than the current Apple Watch Series 7 models. The watch will also have "a new look," "the first time the company has introduced a new Apple Watch design since 2018." The design will reportedly not be quite as round. However, the case will not have flat edges, as was previously suggested. In addition, the version will use a "more durable formulation of titanium to make it particularly robust." As for the price, it is currently believed that the Apple Watch Pro will cost at least $900. Whether that will ultimately be the case remains to be seen. (Photo by oasisamuel / Bigstockphoto)
