The second season of the TV+ series “Dickinson” is set to receive reinforcements, according to a report.
Apple has not yet confirmed a second season of "Dickinson" and the like. But reports say that they are already planning - including for "Dickinson". However, a casting call will be held before filming begins - Variety reports. The magazine claims to have learned that actors Finn Jones and Pico Alexander will appear in the second season of "Dickinson". "Dickinson" is a half-hour comedy that boldly examines the constraints of society, gender and family from the perspective of the rebellious young poet Emily Dickinson (played by Hailee Steinfeld).
Jones will play the role of Samuel Bowles, a newspaper editor who was a close friend of Dickinson. There was speculation that Bowles had a romantic interest that Dickinson referenced in some of her poems - but this has remained unconfirmed. Alexander, meanwhile, will play Henry "Ship" Shipley, a college dropout and crosser with the Dickinsons. In addition to the new faces, familiar characters from the first season will of course also be back - but when the second round might actually start remains completely unknown for the time being.
