Rumors and leaks about new Apple TV hardware have been documented for several months. But no one could really predict any concrete innovations. Now there are new details about the remote control.
The new Apple TV is said to only be upgraded on the inside and will therefore retain the previously known casing. Bloomberg already reported that the new TV box will have significantly more power to guarantee a better gaming experience. If previous rumors are to be believed, there will also be more storage space. That means that storage variants of 64 GB and 128 GB are said to be in the planning stages. Now Bloomberg has spoken out again and shed light on the much-discussed remote control. There have been complaints about the Siri Remote for the Apple TV since its launch in 2015.
Apple TV 6: Release date uncertain
While some users find it too small and easy to misplace, others find using the trackpad difficult. For these and other reasons, Apple is now set to redesign the remote control. According to Bloomberg, it will be integrated into "Find My" and can therefore be found at any time via iPhone and other devices. It remains unclear whether it will have a small speaker or use a different system. Bloomberg could not confirm whether the trackpad will also be revised as part of this update. It also remains unclear whether the form factor will differ from the current model. However, it remains to be seen whether the new sixth-generation Apple TV will be released this year. According to Bloomberg, there is a possibility that the device will not be introduced until next year. AirPods Pro on special offer at Amazon – now available for 205 euros.
