According to a report, Apple still plans to introduce an update to its iPad Pro lineup this fall. Despite rumors of a 14.1-inch version in 2023, updates this year are not out of the question.
Recently, it was rumored that Apple is working on a new, larger iPad Pro model that combines a 14.1-inch miniLED display with the M2 chip. While this iPad Pro is rumored to be released in spring 2023, it is believed that the current size options will receive updates in 2022.
Will Apple update the iPad Pro line this fall?
In Bloomberg’s “Power On” newsletter writes Mark Gurman says that despite the prospect of a 14.1-inch model, there are no plans to stop production of the 11-inch or 12.9-inch iPad Pro. Gurman expects the new iPad Pro models to appear in September or October, which would put the launch in the time frame of the Apple event in the fall. Gurman writes that the iPad Pro update will include an upgrade of the M2, wireless charging with MagSafe and an upgrade of the camera system. The journalist is sticking to his previous claims. Whether he will be right, of course, remains to be seen. (Photo by Colour59 / Bigstockphoto)
