The rumors surrounding the AirPods Pro just won't let up. Now pictures have surfaced that supposedly show the charging case.
Tonight, images were published on Slashleaks that are supposed to show the new charging case for the AirPods 3. These match previous images, but are much sharper in this case. They show the charging case in an elongated format separated from the lid. The slots give an idea of the new design of the popular earbuds. The AirPods Pro are supposed to come with noise cancellation - confirmation of this can be found in an iOS 13.2 beta leak. A new design was necessary to integrate these. The third generation AirPods are said to have rubber attachments. But these images may be perfect copies - as has now become known. This is therefore not the original product. The well-known Apple leaker Ben Geskin claims to have found out this. According to his sources, it is a fake.

Whether this is the original charging case or a perfect fake, nobody can say with certainty. However, the design should be largely the same, thanks to the iOS 13.2 beta leak, are certain. But when will the new wonder plugs appear? Current reports claim that Apple is still end of October will introduce the AirPods Pro - a market launch is scheduled for November. This means that if the information is correct, Apple should present the third generation AirPods next week. However, since there will be no keynote, the only option left is a presentation via press release. But how much will the Pro version of the AirPods cost?
According to a somewhat older report, Apple could charge around 260 US dollars for these - the ANC feature should justify the price. And what will become of the AirPods 2? According to suppliers, these will continue to be offered as a cheaper alternative to the AirPods Pro. As always, it remains to be seen whether the rumors are true.
