The accurate analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has predicted an update in 2021 at the earliest. Now the Taiwanese news site DigiTimes has spoken out. It is currently assumed that the AirPods 3 will be externally similar to the Pro version. This means that the stem will be significantly shorter. The ANC feature, however, will remain reserved for the AirPods Pro - according to Kuo. It is not known what functions the plugs will offer. With regard to the AirPods Pro 2, the whole thing remains even more unclear. So far, only the release date has been commented on, but not new features. For example, it would be possible to use light sensors in both models. This would enable the AirPods to monitor the wearer's heart rate, number of steps and state of health. The detection of head movements is also possible. A corresponding report There have already been reports - but the whole thing should be viewed with great skepticism.
