Now the well-informed and well-known analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has spoken out again. In his report to investors, he provides further details about the 2nd generation of AirPods and the upcoming entry-level MacBook.
Just two days before the big Apple event, Apple expert Ming-Chi Kuo has more information about upcoming products. There have been many rumors about a new entry-level MacBook. What name it will have remains unclear for the time being. "MacBook Air" as well as "Macbook" in question - which name Cupertino will ultimately choose remains to be seen. Kuo reports that Apple will equip this model with Touch ID. There will not be a Touch Bar, however. A retina screen is also to be installed.
AirPods 2
The AirPods 2 are set to have more features and be more expensive. These include better noise compensation and moisture protection. The wireless range is also set to be increased. It is also possible to integrate biometric sensors. Previous rumors predicted that the popular earbuds would not be launched until next year at the earliest. Kuo denies this and says the launch date will be this fall. Whether Apple will present the AirPods 2 the day after tomorrow remains to be seen.
