About a month ago, WhatsApp started beta testing the global voice message player to listen to voice messages in another chat. Now, the company has started rolling out the feature.
Version 22.4.75 of the app allows users to play voice messages and audio files outside of chats. This allows you to listen to an audio message and switch to another chat while replying to another friend. A number of new features were recently announced that will be integrated into WhatsApp later this year. One of these is the ability to pause and resume recording a voice message.
WhatsApp Update: New features are being rolled out gradually
In version 22.2.75, the app received a new tweak thanks to iOS 15. When a user receives a WhatsApp notification, the app now displays the sender's profile photo on the iPhone's lock screen, similar to Telegram and other apps. Last but not least, the latest version also added support for Focus Mode, which means that selected contacts can still send you a message even if you have a Focus Mode enabled. If you haven't been able to access each of these features yet, you'll have to be patient. WhatsApp is only rolling out these features step by step out of. (Photo by Denys Prykhodov / Bigstockphoto)
