Update: Apple releases watchOS 7.0.2

Apple released watchOS 7.0.2 to all users worldwide this evening. The new Apple Watch update is intended to fix some bugs and improve performance.

Apple has somewhat surprisingly made watchOS 7.0.2 (Build: 18R402) available to all users. The update fixes a problem that caused the battery to drain more quickly. The ECG app should also now work again. Below you will find the entire update description in full.

watchOS 7.0.2 includes improvements and bug fixes, including:

• Fixed an issue that caused the battery to drain faster
• Fixed an issue that prevented some users from accessing the ECG app in regions where it is available
