WhatsApp has now officially released version 2.21.100 for all iOS users and added a particularly interesting feature in the voice message area.
In March, a new feature was discovered that was added to the WhatsApp voice messages section. In fact, users can now listen to a voice message at different speeds. There are three playback options available: 1x/1.5x/2x. As soon as a voice message is played, a "1x" symbol appears to the left of the play button, replacing the profile picture. If a user wants to play the memo faster, they have to tap the symbol to increase the speed.
WhatsApp improves voice messaging tool
Interestingly, just a few weeks ago discovered a function, which is also being tested in the area of voice messages. WhatsApp plans to include the option to review recorded voice messages before sending them in a future update. This will allow users to listen to their memo directly before sending it. It is currently not known when the update will be released. Below you will find the entire update description in verbatim. (Photo by Denys Prykhodov / Bigstockphoto)
